Managed cellarage is where we store your wine for just a few dollars per bottle per year in ideal conditions, monitored by our state-of-the-art climate control and security systems. You do not have access to this area but you can add to your collection or remove bottles at any time. Managed cellarage is ideal for serious collectors who want to age premium wine in temperature and humidity controlled conditions. Provenance is an essential element in obtaining the best price when it comes time to sell your wine, if that is your intention. We will be able to provide a history of your wine from date of receipt to date of disposal, including the condition of the wine on receipt. Once received into the managed cellar, your wine will be catalogued and shelved for the duration of its stay and will generally not be moved. You can access any bottle in your collection via our online software, request delivery of a bottle or sell wine via the wine trading platform and all this is done in a secure environment.

Vault storage, on the other hand, is totally managed by you in the same storage conditions. You hold the key and can access your collection at any time. We have a variety of vault sizes from lockers to walk-in vaults and all vaults are part of the same state-of-the-art climate control and security systems as the managed cellarage area. This form of wine storage is just the ticket for those collectors who want to access their wine more regularly, as you do not need to make an appointment. You have your own PIN to access the building and gain entrance to the vault area, then you use your own key to access your wine vault. Depending on the size of your collection, you may want to purchase a commercially available software package that allows you to manage your own collection.

Wine Ark is the wine storage arm of the National Storage group and offers a wide range of services to the serious, and not so serious, wine collector.
