The Bullets often play true to their name – so fast you can barely see them. Well we decided someone had better put their speed under the microscope, and sadly, Adam Gibson was our victim. Let’s see how he handled 10 quick-fire questions.

What’s been the highlight of your career so far?

London Olympics.

What’s your pre-game ritual?

Besides getting physio treatment, hitting the court for some shooting, ball handling routines, etc. I always put on my right sock and right shoe first, to get off on the “right” foot.

What’s the funniest sledge you have heard?

Google “Tim Hardaway Charles Barkley in yo face”.

Who’s the best player you have ever played with?

Dillon Boucher (Bullets) was the best to play with. Best team mate I’ve had would be Peach.

What’s the best advice you have been given?

You only get out what you put in. So the more work and effort you put into something, the bigger the outcome will be.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen a teammate keep or do in the locker room?

Steve Black used to carry a pillow around for his back. His own little pillow. He took it everywhere. At the end of the season we stole it from him and everyone signed it.

What rule of your code would you ditch if you could?

I’d change the games back to 48 minutes.

How do you unwind after a season?

After the season I usually go away on a holiday. I go home to see the family and then this year we will head to USA for a few weeks.

If you weren’t playing sport, what would you do as a job?

I like carpentry/building type stuff so maybe that, or I’d want to be a coach.

What one word would your teammates describe you as?
