This was the first time I'd ever needed to use a storage facility, and I had to book something urgently while moving house. Honestly, the whole process was way easier than I expected. I signed everything up on my phone through the website and had access to my unit the very same day. The facility itself was really handy, with plenty of parking around the buildings. I'd probably recommend getting one of the ground floor units if you can, just because it's a bit quicker loading in and out of your vehicle. That said, the upstairs units were still super easy thanks to the multiple freight elevators spread around the facility, so you could just use whichever one was closest to where you parked. The place was always really quiet, and everyone else I ran into was super friendly. One person even took the time to show me how to use the freight elevator, which was much appreciated. The staff were honestly one of the best parts. They were always so friendly, approachable, and more than happy to help if I had any questions or needed anything. Security was excellent too. You get your own personal keypad access code for entry and exit, there are cameras throughout the facility, and there's even an onsite bathroom, which came in handy. After two months I no longer needed the unit, and closing my account was just as easy as signing up. The staff made the whole process really simple. I'd definitely use National Storage Coorparoo again in the future. Even if there was another storage place a bit closer, I'd happily drive the extra distance because the experience here was that good. Highly recommend.

Very professional and extremely kind. I had a storage unit here for quite some time and the office staff Sam and Brad were very helpful and accommodating wherever they could be. Highly recommend!

We have been customers since 2014 and found the storage,facilities and Staff service right up to our expectations. Security has been excellent and is often updated.Access is very convenient with the access hours of 5 am to 9 pm X 7 days perfect for our needs. Brad and Sam are very good, pleasant to deal with reliable and efficient We are very pleased with our National Storage involvement and recommend them highly

The guys at National Storage Coorparoo were great to deal with. Accomodating, showed us through various units that fell within our needs. Really easy process to not only get a storage unit but to also get the right one.

We needed short term storage while we renovated, however we didn’t realise we needed it until we started packing things away for new flooring to be laid. National storage is in a convenient location for us and we were able to book online and move our things in within 48 hours. The facility is clean and accessible and reasonably priced. We gave notice after two months but they offered us a retention deal for a month which allowed us to move our things out slowly and sort and declutter which was really helpful. I would definitely recommend national storage coorparoo.

Storage FAQs
What is the minimum storage period?
The minimum storing period is one month. If you’re after a shorter stay, get in touch with our friendly team to see how we can tailor a solution to you on 1300 216 803.
How often can I access my goods?
If your account is paid up, you can access your storage space whenever you need to, subject to the centre access hours. The access hours will vary from centre to centre, however you can see your preferred centres access hours on our Find a Centre page.
How much notice do I have to give when moving out?
Clause 8.1 of the terms and conditions in your storage agreement states that you must give not less than seven (7) days notice of your intention to move out.
Am I automatically insured?
No, you are not automatically covered. You may arrange insurance on your own or alternatively, you can take out insurance through National Storage. Under current legislation, we must wait 5 days from the date you purchase storage with us. We will be in touch in 5 days with more information around our insurance. Once contacted, insurance can be purchased through your online customer account and will be applied to your storage unit booking.
How do I add/purchase insurance?
Your goods are not automatically insured when placed in our storage units. You may arrange insurance on your own or alternatively, you can take out insurance through National Storage. Under current legislation, we must wait 5 days from the date you purchase storage with us. We will be in touch in 5 days with more information around our insurance.
Once the 5 day referral period has passed, insurance can be purchased through your online customer account. Your monthly insurance fee will be added to your monthly billing automatically.
You can also provide proof of your own insurance via the My Account portal.
Can I give my code to others e.g. removalist or relatives?
It is recommended you do not give your code out to anyone other than the person you have nominated to have access on your contract as this protects you and others storing in the facility.
